DMSv.se are very pleased to announce that Danielsson Motorsport
Virtual has been given a slot in the Simracing Team Challenge leauge.
DMSv strive for excellence and take every opportunity to break new
grounds. New challenges that will bring the team to strengthen its team
spirit is the driving force in this team.
“-I have said it before and I say it again; some people think that
we take simracing to seriously but in my opinion we are only doing what
we like the most, trying to simulate real racing on all levels.” Says
DMSv Team Manager John Westerlund. John Westerlund continues, “-The
majority of my racers has switched from GTR2 to GTR Evo and that is one
example of the eagerness to look for new challenges. Even if GTR2 in
many ways is a better platform than Evo the fun we have evaluating new
cars and adapting to new driving styles due to the different physics is
worth it all. From what I have seen so far I think that the Simracing
Team Challenge will give us what we are looking for in terms of making
the core and heart of the team stronger. Even though we have strong
individuals in the team in the end of the day it’s the success of the
team that is important.”
The Simracing Team Challenge is an
international GTR Evo based league that focus on teamwork. There will
be one spring season and one season in the autumn. Every season has six
races in each class, GT Pro and GT Sport, over a 3 months period. And
the winner of the leauge is the team that scores the most point in both
classes over the hole season. DMSv will have two cars in GT Pro and
two in GT Sport. The cars selected for the team are the Corvette C6R
and Corvette C6 GT2. DMSv will make it's debut May 14th at Donington in
GT Pro cars.
“-We will do our best to be as competitive as possible at
Donington but lets stay realistic, there are not many days left for
preparations for the drivers. Since we join the league in mid season my
main ambition is to get as many driver as possible try out the league
format. If the league is to our liking I’m 100% sure that we will come
back with one, or if possible, even two very competitive teams in the
autumn event STC Black Cup.” Say Team Manager John Westerlund.
